| Getting Better |

So I've decided that I am going to continue being a busy-body when this
fall rolls around. My "To-Do List" goes a little something like this:
[ ] get classes in order
[ ] workstudy
*[ ] non-work study work
[ ] Dual purpose NGO
- get grant
- figure out where funds are directed and how much I will need
- create infrastructure for organization
- get organization together
- set up first concert
- work from there
[ ] Students for Hip Hop
[ ] KALX
[ ] Amnesty International
[ ] Work at Free Health Clinic
[ ] Cal Poetry Slam
[ ] get tattoo (and funds for it by birthday)
[ ] find a digital camcorder camera
[ ] document my second year of college (!)
[ ] keep in touch with the fam
*perhaps? More like I hope so.
I think the key problem here is not only a lack of money, but a lack of
time. I want to document this year of my life so badly. It's going to
be huge and I think it would be a great way to look back on it. From
what people tell me, I might need to buy a desktop for video
editing...especially since this Toshiba is sort of low grade to begin
with. I have total confidence that I can balance my social life and my
college life...even if the To-Do list look daunting. It's going to be
oodles of fun. I know I can handle it.
I'm having Fip Buchanan tattoo me. I'm thinking that I would like some
derivative of these tattoos. The Koi is going to be changed much more
than the birds. The birds on the back is something I definitely
want....same with the koi (ill have it on my foot). These pictures are
from Buchanan's portfolio. I'll post both derivative drawings and the
pictures that he renders for me from them. FUCKING EXCITED.
